Who am I?
My name is Cody Weinmann, and I'm a composer, arranger, orchestrator, and teacher living and working in the creative hub of Los Angeles, California. For much of my adult life, music has been my constant companion, starting with the simple joy of writing lyrics and discovering melodies on the piano by ear – a skill that surprisingly carried me through my education. This early passion has blossomed into composing and orchestrating for a variety of mediums, including numerous video and film projects for diverse and satisfied clients. My compositional interests are broad, encompassing genres from classical and jazz to blues, folk, rock, and many more. As someone born with a mild case of cerebral palsy, I view my ability to write music and express my innermost feelings as a profound and cherished gift, one I am eternally grateful for.
